Welcome to

EquiArts Australia

Celebrating the achievements and opportunities available to Deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent artists and art workers in Australia.

Our mission

Every year, we bring together leaders and changemakers in the disabled arts community to talk about what Australia is doing well and where it still needs to improve, in making the Arts inclusive and accessible.

In 2025, we’re hosting a virtual forum to spark conversations, connect our community and keep building creative spaces that are open to everyone. Our goal is to provide d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent creatives and arts workers more opportunities to start or grow their careers, share their work and be recognised for their artistic contributions . We do this by building skills, sharing ideas and connecting people across different art forms.

About Us

EquiArts Australia is delivered by the Disabled Creative Collective, a group of disabled creatives and arts workers who want to continue to build an accessible and inclusive arts sector for people with disability.
